    UNESCO concluded in its survey that Bengali is the sweetest language in the world, followed by Spanish and Dutch. People living in India speak this language. Additionally, it ranks seventh in the list of most spoken languages, following Hindi. Apart from these regions, people living in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East also speak this language.     The Bengali language dates back to 900 CE in its history. It was a time when there was Charyapada. They are a collection of mystical poems that made Bengali literature the oldest surviving literature in the world. These poems with spiritual and mystical themes are used to evoke feelings of devotion, love, and enlightenment. The first written script of the Bengali language emerged in the 1200s. With the influence of these languages, the Bengali language starts to evolve. Furthermore, many famous poets began writing their tales, which translators then translated into Arabic and Farsi languages. The oldest poem in the Bengali language is Bhagavata Purana. It was written in commemoration of the Hindu God Krishna.

    Bengali poetry kept on flourishing in the region even in the era of the Mughal empires and British colonization. In 1800, more Bengali literature took a literary leap. Traditional methods of writing the Bengali language were introduced and Bengali poets started to write for the theater. It was a time of Bengali language renaissance. It was the most important era of Bengali literature. At this time, the creativity of Bengali Hindus took the world’s attention. Moreover, it brought great fame to the region. This period ended with the death of Rabindranath Tagore. He was the first non white European that win the Nobel Prize for literature in Bengali.     Bengali and Hindi are less Phonetic than Sanskrit 

    What is phonetic language? These languages are pronounced the same way as they are spelled. In the history of India, Sanskrit is a highly phonetic language. Compared to Sanskrit, Hindi is less phonetic. Therefore, when you speak the Hindi language the vowel is not pronounced the same. Additionally, spelling also does not support it. According to linguists, this situation is called Schwa deletion. It is the terminology related to linguists. Additionally, They refer to a short vowel sound that represents the ‘a’ in the English word about.
