According to a US securities filing, Elon Musk has sold Tesla’s 22 million shares worth $3.58 billion. This latest sale means that Musk has sold nearly $40 billion in Tesla shares since the company’s stock peaked in November 2021.
It is worth noting that shares of Tesla, the world’s most valuable carmaker, are among the worst-performing stocks among major automakers and technology companies this year.
