    Benefits

The spectrum of solar radiation includes infrared and ultraviolet rays. It is infrared rays that activate most of the vital processes in the body. Ultraviolet radiation has a powerful bactericidal effect. Viruses, bacteria, and fungi are afraid of these rays. Under their influence, the condition of the skin prone to acne and pustular rashes significantly improves, and injuries and abrasions heal faster. The sun successfully copes with lichen and other fungal diseases, and improves the condition of patients with psoriasis.

Infrared light prepares the cells of the retina for renewal and restoration, and therefore helps to maintain normal vision.

Sunlight regulates the body’s biorhythms. It has been scientifically proven that a person who receives a sufficient amount of sunlight is more active and energetic during the day, and sleeps better and recovers better at night.

Under the influence of ultraviolet rays, the cells of the skin epidermis are able to synthesize beta-endorphins, which can improve mood. In addition, sunlight promotes the production of serotonin, which improves mood and well-being. Therefore, light therapy has proven its effectiveness in the treatment of depression.

Infrared radiation also has an analgesic effect.

Ultraviolet rays promote the production of nitric oxide (NO) in the body. This substance increases the blood flow to small vessels and capillaries – microcirculation and blood supply to organs improves, cells begin to produce more energy – which means that the function of all body systems is activated. In addition, nitric oxide protects the cardiovascular system, relaxing blood vessels and lowering blood pressure. Due to increased microcirculation, blood supply to the brain improves, which has a positive effect on the state of the entire nervous system.

The sun promotes the production of vital vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) in the skin, without which it is impossible to absorb calcium and phosphorus in our body. This means that the strength of our bones and teeth directly depends on this vitamin. And no matter how much cottage cheese we eat, without vitamin D3 our body will still not absorb calcium. A lack of this vitamin causes rickets in children, and osteoporosis in adults, in which bones lose calcium and become brittle, increasing the risk of fractures. In addition, according to recent studies, vitamin D3 exhibits neuro- and oncoprotective properties, prevents the development of many diseases of the nervous system and cancer.

The sun helps fight excess weight, as its influence accelerates metabolism.

Vitamin D3 also improves the proper functioning of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, adrenal glands, pituitary gland, immune system, harmonizes the production of female and male sex hormones, maintains a balance in cholesterol levels.

Sunbathing is good for asthmatics. Under the influence of sunlight, the general condition of patients with bronchial asthma improves, the frequency and severity of asthma attacks decreases.

    Harm

We talk about the harmful effects of the sun in the case of abuse of sunbathing, ignoring protective and preventive measures.

The most important and common problem with prolonged exposure to the sun is sunburn when, people enjoying betting https://betlabel.com/en for a long time forget about its danger. People with fair skin become especially quick “victims” of the sun. This is due to the fact that melanin, a special protective pigment, is produced in fair-skinned people to a lesser extent than in darker people.

Ultraviolet radiation in large doses increases the risk of developing skin cancer – melanoma.

Excessive sun dries out our skin and disrupts the structure of the skin frame – production deteriorates and destruction of collagen protein increases. As a result, the skin ages quickly and wrinkles appear.

Infrared rays, when exposed for a long time, can overheat our body and cause sunstroke. Dizziness, nausea, vomiting, increased body temperature, fainting, and dehydration occur. In these cases, emergency medical care is needed.

Ultraviolet radiation can cause a burn of the retina and cause the development of cataracts.

Excess sun is stressful for the body and can weaken the body’s immune defenses or, conversely, overstimulate the immune system, which is equally bad for the body.
