With the launch of WOW Classic SOD Phase 3, a series of new content has been introduced into the game. But, as always, it’s the new runes that can be discovered in each phase that get the most attention.

In SoD Phase 3, Rogue can use 6 new runes, which can be equipped on Bracer and Head gear to bring additional buffs to players. In this guide, we’ll inspect all the new Rogue Runes in Phase 3, including details on each rune’s effects and how to obtain them.

Before entering, I need to remind you that don’t forget to buy SOD Gold. Since finding all the runes requires quite a little of walking, upgrading your teleport is crucial.

Carnage Rune

First, I’ll show you how to get Carnage Rune for Bracers. Thankfully, this is a super simple rune. You just need to travel to Dreadmaul Hold in Blasted Lands to coordinate [45,16].

Climb to the top of the tower and you’ll find an Iron Lockbox, which requires level 225 lock-picking skill to open. Once you open it, you’ll face an onslaught of level 46 enemies. Just kill the monsters to loot Carnage Rune.

It’s important to note that you can do this in a team, so if someone else has the lock-picking skill, you don’t need to have it. Also, remember that once you get the rune, you can’t reopen the chest, which means you can’t help other players once you get the rune.

This should be the best DPS rune for Bracers, slightly better than Cut to the Chase. But I personally like Cut to the Chase more and more, because then I don’t need to refresh Slice and Dice.

And I find Carnage annoying because once you apply Dun Garok, you need to wait until it’s completely off before you can cast Rupture and benefit from the damage buff. And you need to make sure your blades don’t overlap before you can start casting.

Combat Potency Rune

Next up is our other Rogue Rune, Combat Potency. To find it, you need to travel to Emerald Sanctuary in Felwood at coordinates [51,82], talk to the troll mob named Shadowtooth Emissary, and accept Wild Gods Quest.

It’s important to note that if you’re doing this whole thing in a party, only one player will need to go to Jintha’alor in the prompt near the [67,65] coordinates, which means the quest isn’t shareable.

You need to kill these elite trolls until one of them drops Wildwhisper Draught. Then head to Razorfen Downs with this item.

As a rogue, you can reach the last room alone. You don’t need to kill the last boss, just drink Wildwhisper Draught and talk to Amnennar the Coldbringer to get a quest and Agamaggan’s Roar.

Next, you need to enter the dungeon and use Agamaggan’s Roar to defeat three specific monsters to collect their drops. These monsters are tough to deal with, so if you wanna upgrade your gear, it is a wise choice to buy WoW SOD gold in advance.

First, you can enter Zul’Farrak and summon the spider mini-boss. Killing it will drop a Wild Offering. You can exit the dungeon and enter again to kill the spider until you get all the offerings.

If you want more variety, you can go to Maraudon. After you clear the last area of Princess Theradras, you’ll find a Ghostly Raptor in the water, summon him and kill him to get the offering.

Finally, you can also get Wild Offering from Blackrock Depths. You need to kill Houndmaster Grebmar, High Interrogator Gerstahn and complete Ring of Law to spawn Ghostly Basilisk on Dark Iron Highway near Bael’Gar Molten Giant boss. Kill it to get the offerings you need.

No matter how you get the offerings, get three of them to return to Shadowtooth Emissary in Felwood to collect your Combat Potency Rune.

Cut To The Chase Rune

Next, this Cut to the Chase Rune is tied to a new reputation called Emerald Wardens.

You can start quests from Duskwood at level 25, Ashenvale at level 40, and around Emerald Dream portals in Hinterlands and Feralas at level 50. But I recommend farming Hinterlands and Feralas. Because these areas provide us with the largest reputation, which is an increase of 10%.

I completed two Feralas Emerald Nightmare quests, including the starting quest with Neutral to Friendly reputation, each granting an average of 75 reputation.

We didn’t complete all the tasks, but we did most of them. Each zone usually has five types of tasks, including killing certain mobs, escorting mobs, and killing area bosses. You can probably do this faster than I can.

After you achieve Emerald Wardens Friendly reputation, you can simply talk to the person next to any quest giver and he will sell you items and runes. You can then use 1 SOD Gold and 60 Silver to buy a Cut to the Chase Rune.

Focused Attacks Rune

To obtain Focused Attacks, all you need to do is reach Hinterlands and head to the troll ruins at coordinates [72,52]. You’ll see a chest on the wall with a mask guarding it. However, you can have your Focused Attacks Rune just by casting a spell to blind the mask and looting the chest.

Although this isn’t a great rune, it’s a good choice if you don’t have a useful rune like Honor Among Thieves.

Honor Among Thieves Rune

Honor Among Thieves should be the best DPS rune in the raid. So how to get it?

First, you need to reach level 45 and then enter Capital City. Next, go to Hillsbrad Foothills and look for coordinates [75,24]. Follow the path into the mountain and find Fahrad on the balcony. He will give you a quest.

He will then send you to Zul’Farrak in Zul’Farrak at the coordinates [39,20]. Note that you need to complete this mission alone, so don’t team up to sneak into the dungeon.

Once you reach the first large room, go left to reach the first tent and loot the canister, then go back to the large room and exit to the right into another tent with two types of Vile Concoctions inside.

Then go to the first boss in the cave, right-click on the item, which will instantly kill the boss, then loot a sack next to the boss to get Offering of Bone.

Next, find Witch Doctor and loot his sack and you will get Ward of the Dead. Just equip it and you will see in which grave you can loot the next item. This will give you Offering of Flesh.

Now combine the two items you got from the first and second boss to generate Blood Magic Essence. Then follow the path of the pyramid, turn right before the pyramid and jump on the wall to loot Hollow Emblem.

Combine these two items again and you get Emblem of Blood Magic. Then climb up to the top of the pyramid and loot the last chest, where you’ll find your final quest item, Talisman of Kazdor. Now all you need to do is return to Ravenholt Manor and turn in the quest.

The next mission, Best Laid Plans, will take you to the basement to talk to the gnome so he can curse the amulet. Then go to Pyrewood Village in Silverpine Forest and interact with the treasure chest to complete the mission.

Finally, complete the last mission back to Ravenholt Manor, One Last Drop, and you’ll be rewarded with Honor Among Thieves Rune and a very cute Filcher’s Cowl.

This rune is great, but as of now, it doesn’t work at all for me at parties or doing solo content. Because this rune does not generate more Combo Points. But under the right circumstances, it can still be a devastating threat.

Unfair Advantage Rune

Finally, Unfair Advantage is a very simple rune. All you need to do is head to Lost Rigger Cove in Tanaris and pickpocket any mobs there until you get Kidnapper’s Coin Purse first.

I actually got it on my second try, and inside you’ll also find a Precious Medallion.

All you need to do now is go to Steamwheedle Port and enter the house at coordinates [66,22] and talk to Jabbey, who will reward you with Unfair Advantage Rune.

This rune is great and will help you a lot in single player content. It instantly hits the center of the attack and you don’t even need to target the attacker. The only bad part about it is that it doesn’t trigger Blade Flurry. But overall, this rune is already better than any rune in Phase 2.

Anyway, that’s all the new Rogue Runes you can find in Phase 3 right now. Hopefully, with this guide, you can easily find the runes you need and stay ahead of the competition! Hope you have a great day!
